Point blank, best purchase of it's product's kind I've ever made. You will not be disappointed.

Great and Bad
The Oster Clippper 76 (the big one) is worth it! But wasn't a fan of the finish trimmers (small one) it pulls my hair. If I had to buy this again I'd buy the Oster Clipper 76 and just but the 00000 attachment.

Awesome Clippers!!
These clippers are awesome. I am in the military and my wife went to hair school so I have been getting my hair cut at home for some time. The cippers she previously used did not cut as short as I liked and occasionaly "pulled" which was very uncomfortable. I ordered many different blades for the 76 (including 000000...I actually don't recall how many zero's, LOL) and this clipper cuts smoothly, comfortably, and CLOSE!! Awesome clippers that I would highly recommend to any one. Also, the blades change out very easy.

Clip your own hair? This set is what you want!
After having long hair for a number of years, I recently got it all cut off and it was back to going to the barber every week to get a "number 1 all over". So, I decided I could do it just as well as him and wanted to get a clipper set to prove it. I got this one. And, let me tell you, I was not disappointed. Popped on the #1 blade that comes with it, and a few minutes later...voila! No more barber! I like the finisher, too. Actually, now i do the finishing first and then clip my hair - it's a little easier to see the edges. Also, heed one of the other reviewer's comments about the size of the clipper - it's a pretty big thing. So, if you're not a big guy like me it might be a little unwieldy. All around great buy, well worth the money!

Best investment!
I am a professional hairstylist and have clipper and have used it daily for over 20 years. With the exception of sending it back to Oster once for servicing. If you are looking for a strong dependable clipper this is the one. The only thing about it I don't like is the weight, it is a little heavy for use 8 hrs. a day. But I have others that I use when I can. This is the big gun, great for really thick hair, doesn't bog down in the thick of it. Clean it, oil it according to the directions and it will last a lifetime.

Good Buy
This is all good. Good dry Shaver cuts close and a lot cheaper than the other edgers I normally buy which cost 50 and up. A real good buy

Cuts well
This product truely gives a professional razor edge but the machine blades bite (irritate the skin)leaving scrathes. Maybe someone can advise me on how i can stop that.

Wahl 5-star DOESN'T CUT HAIR AT ALL!!!!
Looked used, but not sure since it seems they cleaned it up. Tried trimming by beard and it wouldn't cut any hair. I would put more pressure and I would have to go over the area 3-4-5 times to trim a hair or two (this is without any clips, just the hair clipper alone). Took too long to use it for the first time and the 30 Day return period had passed. I would sell it but feel I would be robbing the potential buyer....

powerful little clipper
I use this clipper on my husbands high and tight military style flat top. It is sharp and powerful. The blade is a little short on the ends if you are used to a T-edger. However it does make nice sharp lines for outlining.

Blazing Hot -- Not in a good way
This product has a nice look. I mean who knew clippers could look stylish? The motor works fine, but I see no apprecaible difference than other Wahl adjustable clipper designs.
The BIG detractor is the heat generated by these clippers. Because the body is metallic, it holds a great amount of heat. I have 5 boys, and by the time I got to my 3rd son's hair...I was hot potatoeing the clippers from right hand to left hand.
I am surprised professionals say they like these...maybe they have built up a super hero like calous on their hands and are no longer affected like us mere mortals!

Bottom line. While the metal looks great, I'd advise you get the plastic ones.

very efficient machine
This product is a very good clipper. It cuts easily even hard hairs. Can also be used as shaver. The only drawback is that it gets hot in a few minutes. But it seems to be very well built and I can guarantee that it works great in different situations. If you need a strong and professional one, here is a good option. I bought it about year ago.

Sharp Cutter
I bought this to replace my old non-professionl quality clippers. These are far superior. They cut perfectly, quickly and the edges of the hair are cut cleanly. The cut hair feels much softer compared to my old clippers which I've been using for about twenty years. They are a bit heavier than my old plastic clippers, but create much less vibration. Equally good for head and body hair.

Great clippers
Bought two for my boys away at college - they keep their hair short so they use them frequently. They love them. Their friends use them too. It beats paying for haircuts every 6 weeks. These clippers are much better quality than the ones we have bought at the drugstore.

Im happy
good clippers. probably the best Ive ever bought. Lets see how they hold up over time. If youre looking for clippers to replace shaving... thye dont cut that low. No clippers will. there WILL be hair left. I was looking for a shaving replacement. Still, they cut closer than any other clippers Ive owned. In that respect Im happy.

Hefty, powerful motor
I bought this today after reading reviews that it has a powerful motor. I usually get a #2 on the side, and #5 on top. I haven't had a haircut in 4 months, so my hair was a long and thick. This clipper cut right through it, no problems. Only bogged down twice.

This is the first time I cut my own hair. It turned out as good as the barber. This comes with good instructions, and links to Wahl's website with videos showing how to give different haircuts. It says to start with a thick guide. But, since I knew I always get #2 and #5, I did that, using #3 & 4 to blend the side and top. Turned out fine.

I usually pay (including tip), but save money by delaying haircuts for 3-4. If this thing lasts 2-3 years, I'm going to save 0-0. Plus, I'll cut my hair more often.

For the price, I'm impressed with the quality of the clipper. It's heavy and the motor feels powerful. The plastic case leaves a little to be desired. Everything's loose in it. And, I worry the plastic guides won't last long. But, for , it almost paid for itself with the first cut.

I'm usually leery of cheap products. I was going to spend 0-0 for a professional-grade Oster Classic 76. But, since I've never cut my own hair before, I was worried about making that kind of investment. Based on the positive reviews, I gambled on this Wahl. I'm glad I did. The quality is definitely worth more than the price. And, the instructional materials were valuable for a first-timer like me.

I was thinking when this breaks (after the experience I would have obtained at a low price) I might invest in a professional clipper. But, I don't know. If it lasts 2-3 years it's probably a better value to pay for that length of use compared to a more expensive pro model requiring blade sharpening, replaced motor brushes, etc.

The best clipper we've owned
I've been cutting my husband's bristle-brush hair and my son's thick-but-flat hair for 9 years, and we have tried at least 6 different clippers from other companies. This is our first Wahl and the only hair cutter that has fulfilled all of our criteria, including lots of power, guards up to 1" long and self-sharpening blades. Less powerful cutters take twice as long to cut thick hair, and rechargeable ones run out of steam too quickly. The blade guard, color-coded system and ear/eyebrow guides are added bonuses that we haven't seen with other systems. It's great to buy an American-made product again that upholds high standards of quality and price.

Powerful and quiet
This clipper has very good power, the attachments work well, and the price is right. A slight complaint is that the case is non-fitted. It's just a space, and the kit rattles around inside, assuming you can get it all crammed in there. Still, glad I got it.

its used!!!
ok 1st of all when i opened the box i noticed there was still hair on the clippers!! and im missing 1 of the attachments. I had 2 clean it and everything before I used it (like Duhh!) besides that its works fine still i shouldn't have 2 pay full price for something that iz used....
